About us

The CIMRA group was formed in 2020 under the guidance of Ing. František Mach, Ph.D. with focus on magnetic robotics and automation. The focus is getting much wider while the number of members is increasing.

Everything started with Electrostatic separation and Electromagnetic actuators back in 2012. In 2016 the first members of nowadays group joined František in development of Minirobots and material research. In 2019 the group started covering scanners of magnetic field.

We're hiring

We are very enthusiastic into all kinds of work - programming, modeling, experimenting, etc. If you would like to join us, we will be very happy and we can promiss you that the cooperation will bring many knowledge to both sides - you and also the group.

Here are some basic and example stuff which can be done. But we have much more job offers. Feel free to ask.

  • Minirobots - unified electronics for control and measurements
  • Minirobots - model new robots and improve the actuation principle
  • Elastomers - measure the properties and make a lot of experiments with micropump
  • Elastomers - design and test new materials with different filling
  • Actuators - design new ball valve (simulation, hardware designs, experiments,...)
  • Actuators - build liquid test stand
  • Separation - measure new material combinations
  • Separation - improve mechanics of Poseidon prototype
  • Scanners - add 3rd axis to the measurement
  • Scanners - improve hardware (implement new position feedback, rework control electronics,..) or software (add graphs, improve measurement speed,..) of current prototype
